After graduating from the University of Michigan in 2003, Scott Waldman moved out to Los Angeles and began playing in The City Drive. In 2004, the band signed with Sony and began a whirlwind of touring and playing music. After 4 years with The City Drive, Scott decided to part ways with the band and started working on his own project, Lido Beach. It is his testament to remembering his roots, to working hard, and to connecting with others in a meaningful way.

“I really just wanted [to write] heartfelt, emotive lyrics,” Waldman notes. “Definitely that’s how it started.”

In 2015, Scott began Waldman Management and has been devoted to representing new and exciting talent ever since. The company has grown to include a number of artists, producers, and songwriters on its roster. In addition, Scott is the host of his own weekly radio show, Waldman’s Words, which highlights those working behind the scenes of the music industry.
You can catch  “Waldman’s Words” every Tuesday at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on idobi Radio.
